Ch. 04 · The planning

Everything behind the website.

The seating plan, budget and run sheet come with Essential, and you can invite your partner, a parent or your planner to plan it with you. The planning board comes with Signature.

The budget · Essential and up

See the money before it moves.

Add what each supplier costs and when each deposit is due, and who's chipping in. Your balance is projected day by day to the wedding, so you see a tight month coming long before it arrives, and what you'll have left once it's all paid.

  • Monthly savings and family contributions, in one view
  • Every deposit and final payment on the date it's due
  • What-if totals before you sign anything
The budget planner's projected balance chart: savings and family contributions coming in, supplier deposits going out, and what's left after the wedding
The run sheet · Essential and up

Everyone knows where to be, and when.

Plan the day minute by minute, with a column for everyone involved: from hair and makeup at breakfast to the sparkler send-off. Then each person and supplier gets only their own part, on their phone or on paper.

  • Call times, locations and notes on every item
  • A personal sheet and phone link for every person and supplier
  • Move the ceremony and everything after it moves too
The run sheet as a grid with a column each for the bride, maid of honour, hair artist, makeup artist, stylist, photographer, videographer, groom, officiant, MC and coordinator
The maid of honour's own run sheet on a phone: breakfast at 08:00, hair at 08:45, makeup at 10:15, with locations, who they're with and notes
The seating plan · Essential and up

Your venue, your tables. Every guest in their seat.

Upload your venue's floor plan and set out the tables you've actually hired: long banquet tables, rounds, ovals, a top table for the bridal party. Then drag guests and whole families onto their seats.

  • Drawn to scale, with a warning when an aisle is too tight
  • Households kept together, dietary needs totalled per table
  • Print the floor plan, table lists and place cards
The seating planner over the venue's own floor plan drawing: a long bridal-party table, two family-style banquet tables, round and oval tables and a kids' table around the dance floor, with guests' initials on their seats and the bridal party listed by seat
Ch. 05 · The night

Voice notes from your guests. From the night, in their words.

A small QR code at every table. Guests record a thirty-second message: a memory of how you met, an unsolicited piece of advice, an admission that they cried during the vows. The next morning, they're waiting for you.

And letters you can't open yet. Guests choose which anniversary their note opens on, from your first to your fiftieth, and a live photo wall puts their photos on the big screen as they take them.

lovestruck at a glance.

What it is
lovestruck is a South African wedding website and wedding planning platform: a couple's own wedding website, with a full set of planning tools behind it.
The website
Couples get a wedding website at their own address (names.lovestruck.co.za), from 12 templates they can restyle, with their story, schedule, gallery, registry, FAQ, travel details and online RSVPs. Every guest gets a personal link to reply.
The planning tools
Behind the website: a guest list with households, RSVP tracking and dietary needs on every plan. From Essential: WhatsApp invites and reminders, a seating planner on the venue's own floor plan, a budget planner, a minute-by-minute run sheet, and logins for a partner, family or planner. On Signature: a planning board of tasks as well.
On the day and after
From Essential: guests' photos by QR code. On Signature: voice notes from guests, a live photo wall at the reception, time-capsule letters that open on an anniversary, and thank-you messages.
Pricing
Free to start. Paid plans are a once-off payment, not a subscription: Essential R 349 and Signature R 899. The Free plan has 3 templates and up to 50 guests.
Who it's for
Couples getting married in South Africa. Prices are in Rands, invites can go out on WhatsApp or email, and guests' details are handled in line with POPIA.
Who's behind it
Lovestruck Weddings (Pty) Ltd, a South African company started by Kyle and Jordyn, who are planning their own wedding on it.

Good questions.

Is it really free?

Yes. The Free plan has 3 templates, online RSVPs, email invites, 1 wedding event and room for 50 guests, and no card. You can edit it for 12 months, and it stays online until 6 months after your wedding. Upgrade when you need more, like the seating plan, budget and run sheet on Essential.

Do guests need an app or an account?

No. Each guest gets a personal link. They tap it and reply.

Do guests need WhatsApp?

No. Invites can go by email, or you can share each guest's link however you like. WhatsApp invites and reminders are on Essential and Signature.

Can my partner edit too?

Yes, on Essential and Signature. Invite your partner, a parent or your planner, and each gets their own login. Free is one login.

Is our guests' information safe?

Your guest list and RSVPs are stored with Microsoft Azure in the UK, encrypted in transit and at rest, with automatic backups. Photos and voice notes are stored with Cloudflare in the EU. We never sell or share your guests' details.
